    Removing the water pump

    Hey Guys,

    Thinking about changing the water pump, just read on the rave CD that the turbo has to come off... is this correct or can you do it without taking it off...

    Searching will find a few threads on this.

    I have changed a few water pumps and never removed the turbo, just the centrifugal oil filter unit. I have heard of someone removing the pump even without removing the oil filter, but I am unsure how they managed physically get it out.

    That's for that took off the cent filter, easy job after that...

    I did do a search could not find any info...
