    Auto trans temp gauge kits?

    Greetings Knowledgeable Ones. No doubt this has been asked before - but are there any suggestions/recommendations (+ve or -ve) for a trans temp gauge fitment kit that will suit a D2 TD5? Cutting into the cooler hoses is not preferred - they are new and very expensive

    Through the fill plug is a good sensor point

    I have a Madman in the D2.

    It's monitoring the trans as I described as well as:
    Engine coolant temp
    Coolant level
    Boost
    Voltage
    EGTs

    Along with the P38 cooler my trans runs at 42c when towing 1500kg on a 32c day at 110km/h.

    When I blew the seals the giveaway was temp rise in the Trans.
