Harlie, we keep our records for life on the PC, but the paperwork side of things (repair orders etc) we only have to keep for 10yrs, they come in handy to look things up.
Having 2 keys replaced would normally also mean that the RF receiver was replaced because it did not pick up these keys as there was a service action for this many years ago.
If the locksmith says around 300Mhz then that is answered :D
The nanocom will program up the keys without a barcode tag that comes with a brand new key, if it goes to a dealer then we need that barcode because our system will not let us program it without it.:mad:
There is a thread on Aulro that details how to program the key with nanocom, was very interested, it's good to know it can be done.
Some locksmiths can program the key also!
