    Peter,

I'm in Brunswick and would be happy to check the codes for you if you can make it over to this part of town.

There is also a listing of nanocom owners who are willing to assist with code checking in the Electronic Diagnostics section which might point you to someone closer to home:

The map is a bit out of date and there are at least two melbourne listings for members who no longer have diagnostic gear (28 and 31).

    cheers
    Paul

I have never done it though you will not activate any airbags so dont worry about that...

i think there is just 2 screws under the speed and Rev gauge and the moulding will lift off...

Do you have a RAVE CD?? if not google it or ebay... it is a must have if you own a D2... it will tell you everything about it..

    good luck

I've spoken to Peter and he's going to drop by later in the week for a diagnostic session.

The Nanocom BCU module lets you actuate individual dash lights, so it should be fairly straight forward to verify if the dash lamps actually work without pulling the instrument pack.

    cheers

If req'd the dash isn't that difficult to get out. It will just FEEL like you're about to break it when you do it. The retaining clips are pretty tough. You'll find instructions in "The Good Oil"

It's worth noting that the warning lamps are all LED's except for the high beam indicator. I'd be betting there are no "pulled globes".

My money is on the globes having been removed.

They are soldered LED's. No globes to pull.

    Thanks OffTrack,
I've just lost my money in that case.

I'll go double or nothing that a connector has been left off, or wires have been cut.
