Flat battery one Disco setting off alarm when jump started?
I have a flat battery on my Disco (2V). I tried jump starting with the Falcon, but it sets the alarm off and the key pad remotes don't work (neither the primary or spare unlocks or locks the doors or turns the alarm off).
I have now disconnected the battery and have a battery charged connected to it, in the hope that when I reconnect it with full power it will function correctly?
Any ideas?

We had that happen to a mates d2 after a long weekend of camping( same alarm/ / key issues etc),
Seperating both flat batteries, then removing the flat starter battery, and fitting a charged battery from a camper trailer, got it going and fixed the issue. (jumping wouldnt do it for that car either)
You should be ok once its charged. (if it willc harge from that low a voltage)

Cheers. I disconnected the battery and charged it up with the battery charger for a bit. Once it had some juice in it I could jump it using the dual battery setup.

Not sure if it's a similar issue, but my d2a had a moment today and could get the alarm to stop or the immobiliser to cancel, so removed battery terminal in hope of resetting things, but nope alarm went nuts every time, had to use the key code in the door (turning from unlock, lock, unlock ect). Thankfully did the trick! Weird thing was my battery wasn't flat?
