Actually from the driving I've done I think this is off the mark. Its more about the specific curcumstances. The theory seems sound if you are crawling over uneven or loose surfaces at low speed, but at the speeds you are travelling esp up sand hills, beach exits etc, I reckon TC reacts too slowly. When the Slabs detects a faster than average wheel, by the time the brakes grab, said wheel has probably moved on by 2-3 feet and may well have more positive traction, hence the brakes simply slow things down. Multiply that by four wheels and I could fully understand TC making life difficult on sand, albeit not in all circumstances. Getting up long climbs that with loose and bumpy tracks require momentum, (I think we'd all agree TC is not going to allow you to crawl all the way up the Calcup/Yeagerup dunes), is more difficult a problem with TC. In other sand scenarios TC has been great.

    cheers
