I should take delivery of me new acquired 01 D2 Td5 ES. The rear airbags have been removed and coil springs fitted in place.
Whats involved in reinstalling air suspension? The compressor in still there and the lines to the missing airbags are kinked over and taped up!
Can I test the compressor operation with out airbags?
I presume the fuse has been bulled to disable it, no faults are showing on the dash.

returning back to bags is not difficult, new bags come with a snap in connector, you cut the fitting off the old lines and push it into the airbag and it locks in.
You need to reprogram your vehicle from coils back to airbag suspension.
Hawkeye diagnostic has this, it's just a button press on the suspension menu.
