    Heater Matrix - O Rings

    Hi

My new Heater Matrix arrived without O-Rings

Before I take it all appart, can anyone tell me what size they are, so that I can have new ones ready when I strip it all down.

For future reference for anyone else.
I went to my local Bearing place and they matched up the O-Rings.
    ID - 16mm
    OD - 20mm
    Wall - 2mm

    Metric O-Rings ?? I'd be surprised if they were metric ... ??

Closest standard (imperial) BS size would be a BS016

    15.60mm +/- 0.23mm ID
    1.78mm +/- 0.08mm Section

    ?????

Interesting as he measured up the ones that came out, but since I am not the first owner and the D2 has 300 000 km it may be a second heater matrix, or a second o-ring replacement.

Will buy some imperial versions tomorrow and compare

I went and bought the Imperial O Rings, but they seemed smaller, and I preferred the fit of the Metric ones, and left them on, just was careful with the fitting. So far no leaks.

Just order a pair from a parts supplier. I get a lot of stuff from British Four wheel Drive. I am sure they would have them.

I've bought a little bit from B4WD ... but I don't need heater matix o-rings yet ... find it strange though that they are metric o-rings.
