    Hey Scott...

    Not having a go at all mate......i just referenced your comment to link the same event, sorry for any issues mate....just adding to the conversation.

    My old man is a mechanic by trade, regularly serviced his own cars and checked that LR had done their book service correctly, and no there wasn't any warning....and to top it off, the vehicle was completely standard...no lift.
    The issue is that not all LR owners do know these faults because they don't join forums like this one, and don't necessarily associate with other well versed LR owners who may think to mention this in conversation.

    Kev, no issues mate I know you were not saying anything, I just thought I would clarify my thoughts/ intent which as you know can get skewed via the medium of internet chat Im also aware that uni's of most designs can fail with no warning sometimes. As a truck owner I know!
