    Whilst underneath the disco,
    1. I noticed that the Silver heat protection panels underneath are only held on by a pin and a push on metal washer. You guess it when they wear loose they rattle.
I used a small ring spanner to get an even pressure on the clips and pushed them until they were firm against the heat shield. I did this about 5-6 months ago when I first got the D2 and they haven't come loose.

You could also use for the M6 flange nuts described in the Tech Bulletin above.

I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

Just got a new creak/rattling noise from rear door latch area. Will try some grease to the area soon.
Also, plastic on plastic noise from the top of the climate control system. Banging it out of frustration hasn't fixed it yet.

Turns out that what I thought was the turbo heat shield, was in fact the heat shield on the n/s engine mount, the top bolt was loose , tightened it up and rattle is gone

A screw in the dash aircon vents dropped by one of my carpet commandos;( not happy cos I cant seem to find it to get it out. It goes from one side of the dash to the other every corner we take. Very annoying!
