Thread: Oil Cooler coolant leak

Anyone had a coolant leak btw the oil cooler housing and the engine block (TD5) it's a metal crush type gasket. When I say leak I mean a weep once in a week or two. No coolant in oil,, no oil in coolant, straight out leak btw two housings???

Mine had an oil cooler leak before I bought it. The oil cooler was replaced but six months later the engine did a big end, so I don't know how long it was driven with the oil cooler leak, but probably why they patched it up and sold it.
