    2Nd page at moment on the tutorials section. It sounds more likr an adjustment issue though.

    I agree.
    Easy to have a play with the adjustment first - just loosen a few bolts and move it ever so slightly, nip it up try it.
    Beats stripping it right off, if it works.

    It used to be dodgey showing the selection of Reverse and all other gears were fine. My local Landy mech adjusted it and now it's got the issue with 3rd. So I'm thinking it's something more than an adjustment.

    Looking at the tutorial and seeing the guts of it, I'm at a loss to understand how adjusting it has 'moved' the dodgey indication from R to 3. I was of the opinion that it just had to be replaced but in the new year I might pull it apart and see what's going on.

    Unless the switch is showing a fault,, S & M lights, limp mode,, selector lights flashing in D but not in 3, 2, 1. It will be an adjustment issue either fixed by rotating the switch or on the cable.
