Have you recently fitted a flux capacitor or a Hiclone? Because you might not be using as much fuel with these devices as the tank stays fuller longer
sorry I couldn't help myself.
Have read a few posts about about faulty fuel gauges, they all seem to be stuck on low or half way... mine seems to be stuck on full after a day of off roading...
checked Wires around the fuel filter, they seem ok... i found a connection hanging up beside the fuel tank (looking from underneath)
but it doesn't look long enough to plug into anything...
Whats next to do... pull the pump out?

nah havent done anything like that... it was a quarter full last time i checked.. then it was full...
It could be a stuck float on the sender in the tank?
sounds like a wire problem, disconnected or shorted (sorry I'm unaware if the D2 reads hi or low when disconnected) but usually a full reading is an electrical short (or stuck float)
You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.
thanks guys...where are all the connections? do i need to pull all the carpet out the back to access the area
carpet needs to come out.
Have you tried giving the bottom of the tank a few bangs, see if that free's it up.
Only one connector for the gauge/fuel pump. So if your still running I'd assume that the connection is still ok.

Yep il try banging the bottom first... or go flat out over a speed hump, before attempting to pull the pump out as ive got draws in the back..![]()
All good, pulled the draws and carpet out today.... pulled the cover off, scratched my head for a bit... haha
Pulled the pump out, gave it a shake and checked the arm... put it back together... back to normal..
