    my MudPod install

here are some early pics of my MudPod install, final installed pic to come tomorrow......
    holes cut now layout planning
    final configuration
    installation begins
    a nude dash top
    the tedious bit begins
    all cables through now
modified the mounting plate with a hole saw to more easily route the cables to the switches and instruments
22mm thick pine blocks glued in place to screw mounting plate onto
night view - the camera lies - the EGT gauge is actually evenly lit in red.

A pic of the finished install soon to follow......

a photo of the finished pod will probably answer this question...... but can you sit the pod back towards the windscreen to keep the use of the little pen tray (at least that is what i use it for) ?

I think it was the mini pod I saw that could do this, but unsure whether the normal pod could ?

Yes, you probably could move it back towards the screen but that would mean retaining the black grill for the front of the pod to rest on. I only took it out because i had wiring looms to bring up to the pod - single wires would pass though the grill slots no worries.
