    D2 Extended Wiring Loom

I see that you can get extended ECU wiring looms for the TD5.

My question is does anyone do one for the V8 or does the TD5 one work with a V8 ECU as well?

    ECU Loom

Sorry Chris - extended TD5 diesel loom into a diesel ECU won't cross-over into a V8 petrol loom and ECU

However, in stating that, and if you have the electrical/wiring means........it wouldn't be a hard job to lengthen your loom to suit as long as you have the appropriate clips and connectors to suit and relocate your ecu as far as the roof-rack if you wanted too (Connectors available from JayCar)

Unless you are going to move the Auto ECU, there would be no point on a V8..

And the V8 unit is quite well positioned up under the dash.

If you have water there, then everything is getting a bath!!!

    Thanks.

I thought it was under the seat along with the Auto ECU, my mistake.

Well guess it is only the Auto ECU to look at moving then.
