Thread: Clearing Air Con Codes

Hi all
I was playing with a scan tool on my disco and found that the air con system has a few logged faults in it, i was unable to clear these using the scan tool and i havn't been able to find any info on haw to clear the codes, looking for assistance.

The ECM activates the Air Con compressor clutch in response to requests from the Climate Control ECU, so the faults you are seeing are actually logged in the ECM. The Climate Control ECU isn't directly accessible using diagnostic tools.

You should be able to clear the codes, but if they reappear it's likely they are current faults.

Perhaps you could post the fault codes?
