    fuel gauge

    hey guys, My gauge must be reading wrong, when fuel light comes on and indicator reads near on red Ill fill up but can only ever get 60 litrs in, are these able to be recalibrated or is it a landy quirk

    It's a Landy quirk .... mine runs out of fuel BEFORE the fuel warning light comes on .... (ie:the fuel warning light doesn't come on) ... and the guage reads half way between 1/4 & Empty !

    So you've still got another 35litres in the tank ... or 50% more kms.

    You'll get a feel for it

    Mine max's out at 3/4 full...and empties well before it should! Sigh..definitely a landy thing!

    My disco 1 only gets just below 1/4 left and I can fill about 88/90 litres. I can't see how it could ever get near the empty line!
