Had a slight vibration starting at about 20/30 ks, pulled the front prop shaft out sure enough bearing is on the way out, ujs are good, greaseable ones, can the bearing be purchased at any bearing place.

Have you checked the threads on this site regarding the front prop shaft?

    http://www.aulro.com/afvb/discovery-...t-problem.html

    Look in the good oil.

Personally I don't see why not.

CBC sell the UJ's and the small bearing in the double cardon joint you are after, check out urban panzers site for all the #'s and a step by step tutorial, think its www.discovery2.co.uk, but you will find the link on here, as said before check the good oil.

I dont think you will save money by only replacing the middle bearing. When the middle bearing goes the load also takes out the uni bearings with the tailshaft and you're also working on the assumption that you wont spill the rollers when you press the uni bearings out anyway. While you have it all apart anyway.....

Check the DC joint bearing cap holes carefully for wear, especially the circlip grooves.
I didn't, and paid the price (ouch!)

Did you look at the second post relating to this topic. If you see the name Tom Woods you might be close D'oh.
