So after a little wait (3 months) i finally have my alloy 3/4 rack. Its light enough to lift it on myself, though i did scratch the gutters a little. Id use a second person next time but because no one was available i just did it by myself.
The high mounts cleared the roof rails with ease.
Quality is pretty good, a fair bit of weld splatter about with sharp points thst need attention but i couldn't be happier based on what i paid for it.

Really good quality=ARB. A really good price = Tigerz11:)
Could you put lower mounts on if you removed the rails? Doesn't seem to be much point having them under the nice rack you now have.
Possibly but tigerz low mounts dont clear the roof, let alone the rails. I know because they sent me the low mounts by mistake.
Its sits a little higher than perhaps id like but its still quite acceptable imho.

Looks great. I know what I'll be asking from Santa for Xmas.
Mick
Yes they would but i think ive spent enough already. Roof rack, awning, compressor, jack and jack / shovel holder, bbq grill plus other non tigerz gear. I should be set for the 4x4 earth Talbotville trip now.

I see that these are being praised. Happy to post here why I am not happy with the delivered roof rack and subsequent strength/breakage and service. Although they were very helpful in getting rack to me Four items from Tiger11, three arrived damaged/broken.
Happy to post more details on here if allowed.
Happy so far but it hasnt been used in anger yet. Only time will tell if im happy long term. I had a slight bend in the top side bar of the rack. I wasnt about to wait another 3 months for a replacement so ill just bend it back and live with it.

Would it be possible to use (while keeping within the restraints of) the original rails and crossbars to mount the front section of the rack while having legs on the back half?
