Thanks all - I think I'll try some lubricant for the ignition switch first - only has issues unlatching the lock, rather than starting the car. As for servicing - any suggestions on reputable firms?

Not any off the top of my head in out area. If I want mods or work I can't do myself I drive to Lilydale near Ringwood. Cando automotive and Rowan there really knows his stuff and are reasonable and honest. It's for that reason in willing to drive that far... Like I am today.

Check out the people in Romsey. I can't remember the names, but a quick search on here will yield the result.

    I'm with Pedro.

I can't vouch for them personally but there are a couple of places far closer to you than Lilydale which have a good reputation as LR specialists.

    Hi Fizzer,

(trying not to hijack this thread)
There are plenty of threads regarding exhausts in here however, I replaced my centre muffler with a Lukey Sports about a month after I bought my D2a and have not looked back. Didn't do the resonator as it was in good condition but are looking at that soon. Noise level is good but would like it to be a little rawer. Went to TTF in Wangara, in and out around 35 minutes.

    Cheers,

    Peter.

I'm in Melbourne's west and I've been going to Hunter Cuthill who are independent LR specialists in Geelong. They know their stuff and costs seem reasonable.
