Help! Nothing's going wrong

I was going to post that I made the 40km to town and back twice this week without incident - but that's a lie.
My low coolant alarm told me to look underneath after the first trip. 1litre lost due to the faulty seal on my 2nd (new) water pump.
Very nice drive though.
Good news is it only leaks when stopped! (nappies and a drip feed?)
Thinking a fold up electric bike might be the best investment next. Any suggestions?https://www.aulro.com/afvb/images/im...2015/12/13.jpg
A good news story- my D2a was bought with 200k on the clock and now has 265 k, repairs in that time are: front propshaft rebuild ($320), replace engine mount ($150), replace window reg and door latch ($250), top radiator hose ($100). That's it, besides maintenance such as filters, brakes etc. i do all the work myself, it hasn't seen a mechanic in 55k. Trips in that time: Vic high country tour, Cape York, Gulf trip (savannah way via roper to Darwin), heaps of Top end 4wding, Gibb river road via Mitchell Falls and back to Darwin, and most recently 600 kms from Katherine to Ramingining (East Arnhem Land), which is where I live and work now- properly remote country. I went with a friend and two Yolngu women who took us fishing in their country last weekend- they were mightily impressed with the D2a, doubtless the first one they'd ever been in. "Mung muk" (very good!) was the description given, and this from people who spend their lives in troopies. Ive feared it, doubted it, and tested it- now i just love it. Never let me down yet- long live the d2a!
