Thread: injector return line

hi all,
jusy wondering if anyone knows where I might be able to pick up a replacement 2001 Disco TD5 injector return line fairly quickly.
I'm currently in Leinster, WA with diesel dripping from a dodgy swage down onto the starter motor causing intermittent starter motor problems now and then. I repaired the Fuel Pressure Regulator a couple of months back (pulled apart and replaced the 'o' rings) and all has been well until now ... with the dripping diesel
I've had a brief hunt around and it appears that this line is not a replaceable item.... it apparently comes as part of a replacement FPR kit.
As it only cost me about $10 to replace the 'o' rings in the regulator I don't particularly want fork out $300 odd just to get this pipe.
My other option is to send it to Enzed in Kalgoorlie and get them the repair it.. but this will take some time and I'm hoping to be able to sort the issue out fairly quickly.

sorry not familiar with the TD5s, but surely any auto accessory shop would have a piece of fuel resistant rubber hose you could joint onto the return hose and use a couple of screw clamps as a temp fix

that was my initial thought, however, I figured because they were using swages that there may be reasonably high pressures involved , and if so, the normal type hose clamp would not be suitable.
