Anyone know of any company that makes brackets/mounts to lower the mounting point of the front and rear shock absorbers?
I know Terrafirma do this for D1 and Defenders, but not D2's. Les Richmond Automotive do a setup to raise the bottom of the rear shock absorbers up.

Do you mean to lower the upper mounts or the lower mounts?
Lowering the upper mounts in my opinion is the wrong way to go. Seems to be popular in the UK however.

x2.
lowering your top mounts will achive nothing.
Just ad '****' down travel.
The best option is to raise the rear mounts and fit longer shocks to suit.
I think the only reason to limit up travel is because of tyre rub.
Up travel will have lots more traction then down travel.
LRA makes raised mounts for D1 , so probably most likely for D2.

Yes, I would like to lower the top shock absorber mounts both front and rear.
These can do the front - http://www.rte-fab.com/index.php?pag...art&Itemid=119
You do realise that if you lower mounts to give more droop, ( with standard length shocks) you will have to fit longer bump stops or risk blowing the tops out of the shocks if you hit a compression bump really hard. The bumpstops can compress to well less than half their thickness under impact.Yes, I would like to lower the top shock absorber mounts both front and rear.
So you do not gain any travel just droop and lose upward movement.
If on the other hand you fit raised top mounts you can fit shocks that have a longer travel .

I have fitted 4" spacers underneath the SLS airbags to achieve a 4" lift for the rear. Now, as I'm using the standard length airbags, I have not altered the spring travel or comppression heights at all.
I have lifted the rear shock absorber mount by 2"'s using the Les Richmond Automotive White Tiger kit. I would like to retain the standard length shocks as these are matched in their lengths to the SLS airbags. However, in order to still use standard length shocks I would need to space them by another 2"'s. Hence why I'm looking for mounts to lower the top mounting point of the rear shock absorbers by 2".
There is also a significant price difference between 2" + Bilsteins and standard length Bilsteins from the USA.
You will also need to review your bump stops, watts linkage setup and your rear swaybar setup with that setup. You may also have to check your front swaybar setup if you have ACE also.
