Mine also sagged, replaced them with King Springs standard, came up well, but can't remember the distances.
I would replace the shocks as well if they are the originals, bilstein seem to suit the D2 well.
I noticed whislt under the D2 td5 the other day that the front axle to the bump stops in only 15mm therabout. I checked rave on suspension it states 500mm +/-15mm from hub centre to wheel arc, mine measures 470mm. The rear sls airbags have been replaced b4 by previous owner, these measure 480mm within spec.
Questions
The D2 has an arb bullbar no winch would this be adding the low stance?
What aftermarket springs would you suggest for standard height does the weight of the bullbar need to be taken into account?
Is replacing the shocks at the same time neccesary?
Thanks

Dobinsons
I replaced my front saggy's with the dobinsons made for bar and winch which advertised 45mm lift over standard and ended up with a lift way over that.
Replaced them with the springs for bar only, advertised 45mm lift and ended with just under 40mm lift. I have a winch as well
My point is the lift you from their springs is higher than advertised.
If you just want standard height and you have a bar then the dobinsons standard height springs advertised for 20mm lift would sit nicely I reckon.
They ride great.
I fitted bilstein 994's shocks as well, much firmer ride, maybe just a tad too firm if you love the land rover ride but the drive is way better, doesn't, bottom out over the speed bumps at speed!
X2 for Dobinsons. I'm , not a fan of OME.
Are they expensive the dobinsin springs
I fitted Dobinson +20mm springs to mine a while ago. (no bar, no winch) they lifted the front to 510mm. Ideal for me.
They are same length as std, but slightly stiffer.
~$80 ea from Suspension Stuff in Qld. free shipping at the time I bought them (2010).

Not in my opinion. Shane @ Suspension Stuff was able to ship me 2 x coils and 4x shocks for around $50 less than an inferior package from the local ARB store.Originally Posted by JGARDE

I put a suspension stuff 2 inch mates rate kit in my disco 2 a few months ago, Dobinsons and suspension stuff shocks, 5 year warranty on them, hence why I chose them over other makes and alot cheaper $770 for the kit delivered from Brisbane to Perth.
Figured if they put a 5 year warranty on them they must be good. Other major brands had 1 year warranty's and were over twice the price.
Lifted the back off the disco up 73mm and the front 64mm, that's how much it had sagged. It has had a full length roof rack and ARB steel bull bar on it for the last 10 years though.
Now its sitting level all around and drives/handles completely different, even the Mrs commented on how much nicer it is.
Talk to Shane, he's really helpful and will help you get what your after.

Worth a look.
Another fan of Dobinsons +20mm springs from Suspension Stuff here. Mine has a steel bullbar too which hastened wear on standard front springs.
If you choose to retain original front shocks, check the lower bushes while you are at it, most likely they will be worn. They are relatively easy to replace with full instructions on UP's site.
Thanks for the advice,
Just ordered dobinsons C51-032 +20mm from suspension stuff for $100 each delivered.
If the rear springs are C51-025V then I may need 20mm spacers to level out.
No new shocks for now swmbo moaning.![]()
