Apparently the T2 slotting replaces the old directionally slotted rotors DBA used to sell. Slunnie, Tombie and others have recommended the directionally slotted rotors so I'm hoping the T2's are on a par.

The T2's look really good. I'm not sure if they use the Kangaroo Paws in 4WD rotors, the older ones at least didn't - great mud holders I suspect.
Absolutely recommend slots, absolutely do not recommend cross drilling - these are stress raisers and will lead to rotor cracks radiating from every cross-drill.
The 4x4 Survival version of the t2 also uses the "kangaroo paw" venting. We'll see how they go.
The US forums seem to love the DBA cross drilled rotors, and claim they very last well - I've seen figures of 100K+ miles lifespan claimed on discoweb, landroverforum, etc.
Just got an email from the spares pro saying that DBA make these to order so I have couple of weeks to wait until they have them done.
Got the DBA T2 rotors about 4 weeks ago, but a holiday up to the NT intervened so made a start on the install today.
I decided to do the guide pins while I'm at it so ordered genuine pin kits and pads from Rimmers in the UK. In the end the guide pins proved to be a good decision as on the drivers side caliper I had one guide pin that was fairly stiff and one frozen and quite worn.
Pull the calipers was fairly straight forward but I found removing the rotors a bit of a challenge. I eventually resorted to YouTube and came across a really handy tutorial on YouTube

Armed with a couple of bolts it took about 10 minutes to get each rotor off.
Still have the rears to do, and hopefully will get them done this week.
cheers
Paul
Managed to get the rears done this afternoon...
Same procedure - new rotors, pads, guide pins and guide pin bolts. No stuck guide pins this time around.
I've attached a few pics of the rotors on the D2.
