    have you checked the connections on the crank angle sensor, security of the injector harness plug, and reset the inertia switch?

    temp swap the ECU into another vehicle and see if the fault follows it.

    a checksum error usually indicated gibberish coming from something on the bus.

    Try disconnecting all the body modules if the fault doesnt follow the ECU to another vehicle and see what you get.

    Just had a look at RAVE, if the fuel pump relay fails, the symptons are;

    engine will crank, but will not start

    if the engine is running it will stop.

    The MIL [malfunction indicator lamp] will not illuminate in a fuel pump relay failure.
    The Main relay has the same symptons if it fails. the main relay is no. 11 in the main engine compt. fuse box, the fuel pump relay no.13. the CKP , if fitted incorrectly ,engine will not start, but the MIL is on. May be way off the mark, but hope it helps. Bob
    I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

    A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking

    skip that...

    just unplug and unscrew the fuel drain on the filter then turn the ignition on, if you get nothing there then the fuel pump is not doing its bit.

    The missing sound of the fuel pump is usually pretty obvious.

    mnooo

    you take your ecu and put it in another vehicle then see if the symptoms move from your vehicle to another.

    If they do its the ECU if they dont its the vehicle.
