Yes. I think the number is the width of the bulb or the bottom of the wedge in mm.

well the bulb is removed, cant see anything on it except
12/1.2 OSRAM

Well, i noticed that the bulb was pretty much falling out of its socket, so i put it back in properly and tried it...
buuuut it didn't work :(

Sounds like a bog standard 1.2 watt wedge base bulb. Common as muck. Even my local Woolies servo has them.

If the bulb pulls out (some don't, they are welded in) then it's a 1.2W 12v wedge base globe.

They are welded in.

Got my replacement from repco although they had to get it in.
