    Clock backlight replacement.

    Evening all.
Anyone know where i can source a replacement bulb for the clock backlight?
Or is there a run of the mill type bulb that it can be replaced with?
    Cheers.

From Microcat it looks like a standard bulb and holder. Try any auto parts shop or Jaycar.

This a pic of an LED replacement from the Jaycar catalogue:

Of course, using the forum search feature would have given you this: http://www.aulro.com/afvb/discovery-...-clock-d2.html

    or this:

Have you considered a LED as a replacement?

The clock and the dials on my Defender are now illuminated by LEDs. They are just inserted in place of the bulb.

If you decide to go with an LED, then you have the option of a coloured LED.

My clock backlight is now a very attractive shade of blue.

I think I got them from here. I have bought from a couple of places at different times.
