100 points! Northian, you fitted it in a legal position, I have mine in the same spot.
Many fit them on top of the bull bar which is a no no.

I have mine come on with high beam only. I used my high beam plug wire and tapped into it and it feeds a trigger for the relay that powers the LED bar.
