Just happened to be at TRS today, to pickup a fuel line...

BUT - while I was there, and SWMBO is suffering from a guilt trip, (another long, sad, sorry tail) I went shopping

Picked up roof rail extensions, 3 x Rola low profile cross bars, and a cargo blind.

So, Mr Muppet, did you manage to find the extensions & cross bars? I only came across this thread, as I was looking for the installation instructions.

Installation is pretty easy once you have access to the rear of the roof inside. Remove blanking plugs from the rear end of the front rails. You'll find the holes at the end of the inside roof reinforcing rails, and you drill a small pilot hole through. I used Sneigy's guides to get the hole just right. Then cover a couple of inches surrounding the roof in gaffer tape. Using a SHARP 32mm hole saw, drill slowly and carefully from the outside, allowing time for the saw to cut at it's own pace. Ease off the slight pressure as the saw breaks through. Remove the tape. Paint the resultant bare metal with something to stop rust, I used Killrust all in one. The rails should drop neatly into the holes, and tighten against the inside reinforcing rail.

I found that the rail foam was collapsed, so went to Clark Rubber and bought 20cm sq of 5mm closed cell black foam, which when cut to the shape of the feet, packed them out perfectly.
    Regards, Will

Roof rail extensions - where to buy

I did a search for the part number in some of the uk online shops. I got mine sent over and delivered within two weeks for half the price I could get them in au. Also it was going to take the east coast mob that said they stocked them at least six weeks.....

So if you haven't got them yet, have a squizz online.

    They do look great.

Have seen them on UK e bay quiet a bit. Wat stopped me was the complications with rear A/C. The A/C ducting has to be removed bfore fitting can take place.

    Cheers, Jerry
