BTW: FPR = Fuel Pressure Regulator. The the crimp on the hose is directly above the alternator end housing. It may slowly drip diesel for quite a while before failing. If it is wet around the crimp, it's on the way out - replace the hose ASAP.

It's the hose that goes from the engine block to the the FPR, with a crimp right above the alternator end housing. The hose gets brittle and the crimp seal fails.
