    Side guard indicator removal tricks?

    Hi guys.
    need to chnge the globe in the side indicator on the front guard, any clues how to get that off, can't seem to find it on the rave. dont want to force it in the wrong direction.

    Hi, on a defender they clip in so you push the whole light to front or back if upside down then you can pop one end out and then the whole thing. Bulb pops out the back with the holder with a quarter turn.
    Don't know if yours is the same?

    From memory the whole indicator lens slides forward along the fender and then can be lifted out of its recess

    There are lock tabs on the assembly, you push it to one side, and lift one side and it comes out. I can't remember though whether it is slide forward or backwards. It's only a couple of mm

    It slides forward, only about 2-4mm then the rear lifts out and the rest is self evident.

    Except that the plastic "spring tab" is now 13 years old and is prone to snapping... I would have been happy with two stainless steel screws...
