This is the other part of the EGR kit that you need. Check out this website it shows you what to do.

Cheers thanks for that Pricey, I tried searching on here. But EGR didnt find anything. But google brought up a ton of images that shown me what it all looks like. And the pic you shown replaces everything on the inlet side.
What is done with the water hoses, I think thats what they are. As I am guessing mine being a 04 will have the cooler on the egr pipe. Not just the bare pipe.

No dramas.
Ok I brought my Madman Kit from Nata in Sydney about 4weeks ago. Was great to deal with and answered a bunch of questions I had over the phone. So I am very happy to recommend. :)
No not installed yet as I have been waiting to get my exhaust manifold fixed first.
But booked in next week. I was going to do it myself. But I am banned from removing broken things from places they shouldn't be broken in.
Anyway here is my gauge and senders. I could do with some tips.
I know where 90% of it goes. But not sure what the T piece is for. Or where to put the temp sender in the auto?
So would love some advice please.
Is the T piece used for the boost gauge? If so then I don't need that. As I am going to get nut welded onto my EGR vavle removal

:)
T piece might be for engine oil pressure?
Am putting my EMS 1 in at the moment. Using T piece for oil pressure sender so not doing boost.
For the auto transmission I am surface mounting a thermistor on the pipe leading to the cooler and close to the transmission itself. That way I don't have to make any holes in the transmission sump or any of its plumbing. Not in yet but maybe after the weekend.
Likewise for coolant/head temp I am using a thermistor on attached to an eye terminal which will go on a bolt in a suitable place. Coolant level uses the existing bleed screw and EGT goes in the blanking plate where the EGR pipe used to be.
attached pic of the sensors I am installing. Idea was to avoid any cutting/drilling and keep the cost down. Hope it all works ok.
My auto temp sensor is a thermistor surface mounted on the pipe running to the cooler, it wasn't part of the kit.
Also be aware that there are two versions of the oil pressure sender on Td5's one version has the tapered 1/8 - 27 NPT thread and the other has a parallel thread. The kit sends you a tapered thread tee piece which is not compatible with the parallel thread sender on my engine (02 EU3 if that matters at all).
While it may feel like it's threading on it will leak.
I found a running tee that had parallel threads for the Disco sender and a tapered thread for the pressure sender for your EMS.
Thanks for the reply mate.
I really want to use the VDO sender that came with the kit to get the most accurate readings. It's 1/8 - 27 NPT thread.
Thanks for the Pressure sender stuff too. I haven't looked real hard yet but I'm fitting a boost sender not oil. I'm hoping there is somewhere I can tap in near the manifold.
Happy Days.
Well to be honest. It's on top of the fridge.
But I will take pics when I get that far. Just been a little busy. Well actually slack.
As for boost. I brought an egr removal kit. And am going to have a bung welded in the inlet pipe (replacement bit that deletes the egr valve). So as to take the vdo pressure sender.
