so I gather the switches fit behind the MODE switch on the flat console??

The wiring loom seems the same between all models. So I am guessing the seat heater wiring is there.
I realise its not a real cheap option. But the linked heating elements above, would they plug into factory wiring and then work if I also get the switches.
Guessing it wouldn't take much for auto trimmer to fit them

The looms are different between models, 7 & 5 seat variants again are different, if you are lucky enough to have the loom & you may, you will then need to strip the seat coverings & fit. Not a hard job just very time consuming !Originally Posted by turps

To me the wiring would be the easy bit. I would rather have the elements in the seats with no wiring, than the other way around

If you have a genuine HSE then you will definitely have everything you require. It's just a matter of fitting the switches & if you have the wood grain console, it's just a matter of buying from the UK as it will be cheaper, but check with local dealers as our prices for D2 parts have dropped :-) You may be surprised.

This false information is a long time habit of the manufacturer.
The brochure for the SIII showed they had dual speed wipers and the ADRs of the time required that they have dual speed wipers. But for most of the 1970's there were no dual speed wipers in SIII until stage 1.
What really irked us in the LROC was that when you fitted a alternate engine like a Holden, you were required also to fit dual circuit brakes, dual speed wipers and heater demister but at the same time the new ones coming off the PMC assembly line at Enfield only had the dual speed heater demister.
You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.
