If you plan to offroad, always look at an LT tyre, it has nothing to do with tread grip, but load rating and thicker construction (also often only rated to 160km/h)

Yes, but I want LTs (or at least proven sidewalls) with max available tyre height without a body lift. I do like what I hear about the Pirelli Scoprion ATs.
To quote you from some time ago - For standard D2a, Tombie says biggest are 265/75 (D = 31.65) - but with possible rubbing. [For 245/75, D = 30.47].
Although another source says "Largest to fit on a stock DSII are 30.5 inch sized tyres, of which the 245/75R16 size seems to be the most often mounted.
