That's it agreed it over priced without looking at it. It is about $5000 dearer than NSW prices. Especially when that is the price with at least $2000 trade
It might give you some pointers for someone else to look at it if they are inexperienced.

Ie not a trained mechanic
Yeah I am a qualified mechanic although been out of the trade for a while. It's not something that you forget how to do. Mechanics is a very simple thing. Electrics on the other hand is like dutch to me. Haha :D
Saddly I am getting impression that you need to be both these days.
When you travel through can you look at a few in Sydney for me please LOL just jump out of the plane and get another 1 in Sydney
Yeah not a problem. Hardly a challenge at all. Haha. Actually I think it would be a harder challenge finding a Disco that is actually worth the money people are asking. It's a funny thing car shopping. People want more than top dollar for their car when selling it and won't budge on price but when they are buying if you aren't negotiable on price the crack up and call you a tight &@? It pains me a bit. I don't mind paying top dollar for a top example of a car but when people get an over exaggerated view of their own car it makes it hard. That Disco you mentioned up here has numerous problems. Engine oil leak, a patchy at best service history, oil leak from rear off side axle so depending on how bad that has been could also lead to new brakes. Oil leaking from tranny and there are more just can't recall them all. But it was a few. Now knowing most car yards all they would do is run a bead of silicone around the area and pressure clean it and say its all done. And yes I am a bit cynical unfortunately as I know how they work. It's unfortunate that people have become so hungry for cash and forget that helping people out is far more valuable (a clear concience).
ageed on buying cars, it is hard to meet a compromise with worth v's condition of car.
I also am prepared to pay for the right car within reason.
1 thing I have found is that most people do not have any idea on D2 models. I have looked at a lot of alleged HSE's that were D2a 2004 standards with the limited edition leather seats that are a standard
Gday Adam I dont know if you would consider a V8 one but there is a very nice D2a in the Ford dealership in Kilmore for sale. I stopped for a quick look today and its very neat. I would be surprised if its even been offroad. Very nice interior, would love it in mine. Here's a link to ford just look up Landrover. There is only one there. I dont know any history on this so I advise the usual caution when buying any second hand vehicle. Just saying I'm no expert but it presents very well I thought. It has been for sale for at least 2 or 3 weeks maybe more.

Thanks I will check them out. Hey plucker. How many so called ES models do you also see advertised with cloth trim and without ACE and a ton of other standard options. It's very obvious to me that either they as you say have no idea or are just getting the keys mixed up on the keyboard. They all look very similar to SE's to me. Correct me if I am wrong but the ES comes with almost every conceivable option know to man. Haha.
