About the wire. You do not have to cut it. Land Rover have given you an option. If you cut the wire you will not have an option.
Option 1: Start the car diff unlocked then lock the diff = diff lock + ABS + TC
Option 2: Lock the diff and then start the car = diff lock + reduced ABS (yes it is there just backed off) - TC
Most people who promote wire snipping do so because of the scenario of a needing to do a stall start and not wanting to have to remember to unlock the diff before restarting the car. If you unlock CDL in this scenario it wont disengage, plus being on a hill (to stall in the first place) is NOT a sensible time to be unlocking your CDL ;)
There can also be situations where there is an advantage to being able to turn off TC while having your diffs locked. Please name 1 :cool: Diffs locked and TC working doesnt interfere at all in any way (it cant, it goes against the logic behind TC)
I like the idea of flexibility, so I will keep the wires as is.
