""HELP PLEASE"" interior wet after heavy rain

I have'nt had the chance to go right over it, there does'nt seem to be anything obvious but I'm thinking maybe removing the front roof lining and leaving off for a few days to see if I can work out where its coming in because it leaked again:mad::(.
If I take the over head console out, the grab handles off and the 2 plastic pins where it joins the rear out, is it that simple to remove?, will it just fall down. Is it glued or any tricks I should know about?
Any help welcome as I have not taken roof lining out before and mine is'nt sagged and dont want to stuff it.

As the article above shows the head lining is a single piece so it means pulling the whole thing.

There a good procedure in RAVE which would be a useful accompaniment to the pictorial how to.

If you haven't already got a set nip down to Jaycar and grab a trim removal tool kit. I was hesitant about the $25 investment when I bought mine having experienced the "one use" quality of some of their products in the past. These have proven to be very sturdy and make pulling the trim clips without damaging the trim much, much easier.

I had to remove one of the rear upper "D" trims yesterday and discovered that even with the clips and screws removed it was difficult to get off. The trim section around the Alpine glass was stuck to the adhesive holding the window in place and required some gentle persuasion to release the trim. Not sure if this is common, as the glass may have been replaced at some point, but something to be prepared for.

I think they leak from the factory. They supply a whole book called " the Water Ingress Manual" to fix all the problems.

After reading this thread I went and checked mine. Looks like about a tube of silastic per corner has been applied!!! :O But it dont leak! Well, not in the first car wash trip anyway :D
