Yes thanks, I do recall the thread on current draw but I have a much higher draw. Will have a look at the alternator next and see what I find.

What battery isolator are you running? :D
Traxide SC80.
Oddly enough, I was going to do the alternator check today and before getting down there I checked the current draw again. Bugger me if it wasn't 0.09 Amps which strikes me as normal!
Anyway, have reconnected the rear battery (it's been disconnected for a few days whilst I was running some tests) and we'll see what happens.
Yes.
It would go flat after 3 days, also has a SC80 controlling the fridge battery.
I have a CAT 1000CCA main battery and an Optima Blue Top in the rear for the Engel.
Since I have been using my 25AMP Ctek I can get a bit over a week without a flat battery,it proves they do improve battery stamina/life.
I have wondered in the past if the SC80 interferes with the ECUs not shutting down, but havent gone to the effort of temporarilly disabeling the system.
It was easier to buy the Ctek:):):):)
Andrew
I Have just borrowed a 21 amp charger from a friend and have deduced that my 6 amp charger does not get a high enough charging voltage to fully charge either my main CAT battery or my AGM 75 ah secondary. The rejuvanting charge pumps up to 16 volts into the batteries.
When I disconnect the SC80 my rear battery seems to hold it's voltage OK and the drain that I originally measured was from the maon battery.
Checked the voltage tonight (both batteries linked via SC80) and had 12.5 volts after 24 hours - I'll keep checking it and also see if I can reproduce the 2.8 amp drain again.
Cheers,
Franz
