No, that sounds like the connector for the ACE Upper Accelerometer.

The power connector for Homelink is there on some non-NAS models - it's there on mine.

You can pickup the D2 Homelink unit quite cheap on eBay US - can it be used in Australia?

I a very basic model unsure of what spec I'm a newbie (cloth trim, tape deck with 6 changer, SLS) and has the compass and auto dimming mirror. its interesting that the compliance plate has 7 seats on it but have no rear seats or trim at all. also want to know how to change over the compass to temp.

Mirror can't do temp as no data feed

Your climate control has a feature for ambient temp.

Dave I can guarantee you have the elements. If it is an HSE with the Harmon Kardon stereo! You need 2 switches & a different switch panel. Everything is there, it is just plug & play so to speak. The switch panel may be a pain if you have the wood trim that is a one piece unit from the lighter socket to the top of the window switches as they are expensive & hard to find.

**Also all Aus D2's have heated ext wing mirrors (except the TD5 "S" variant that was released 01/02 from memory)**

Hmmm I wonder if my 2000 SE has the elements?
It appears I have the wiring in behind the window switch panel...

High line wiring harness is needed with Leather ELECTRIC seats & Harmon Kardon stereo.
    From 99MY ES to 04MY SE/HSE.
The wiring in some variants may be in under the switch panel (normally 7 sweater variants) but the wiring doesn't go to the seats as they are not leather.

OK.. thanks, sounds like it should be all there as I have the Leather power seats and Karmon Kardon stereo, 7 seater.

There are definitely spare connectors under the window switch panel so at some stage I will source some switches and see if it all works

Pete. You have me confused. In your post number 35 you state that I should have every thing in place. Mine is a HSE with Harmon Kardon sound, yet in the above quoted post you say I need high line wiring harness.

And yes I do have the full one piece fake wood console trim.
