    D2 scrub bars?

Has anyone put scrub bars on a D2?
By scrub bars I mean the ones that connect into side steps
Did a quick online search, but only found pics of factory brush bars
Just curious to see what they would look like.
    Cheers

As far as I know there is no one making side steps with scrub bars for a D2.

Your best bet is to contact somewhere like outcast offroad and see about having some made.

yeah im bending some up now.
after a trip out to the springs ive bent the passenger side ARB side step into a bannah and damaged the door
im very very very disappointed with ARB's mount design to the hangers and the **** weak wall thickness tube they use.

so i searched every where and havnt seen any, so ive bent some up.
i will try and get some pics of progress on here but it is a hard vehicle to make them work.
I have an ARB bull bar and make it hard to adapt the bars to as the bar is really low in height and doesnt protrude out the side either

    Hi Chris.
It was actually the thread in marketplace about the deefer scrub bars that got me thinking.
I could knock some up with a mate relatively easily, I was just wondering if anyone had already tried them, just to see what it looks like.

i would like to scrub bars to be a bit higher but your limited by the height of the front vertical post on the bull bar so the best i can do is level with the bottom edge of the guard, ive cut the original Arb side step where it tappers in near the front and have added the scrub bar from there, then will beef up existing bars including more tube work to create a slider style around the sills

I have seen ARB scrub bars fitted to D1's but not sure if they were made for the D2 as I can't remember seeing any. I've seen D1 sets on ebay before. The front is not the different some could maybe be modified.
    Cheers, David.

Yep me too; d1 but not d2. Ive got an arb bar and wanted the scrub bars so called them and arb don't make them for the d2; something to do with airbags I think.
