    Does Smokey have an amp?

    Hey folks,

    Finally getting the new stereo into Smokey...I was asked if there was an amp as it would require some sort of extra wiring. So does Smokey have an amp? I know Smokey has 6 speakers and thats about it. Or should it just be the stereo and the steering control wiring required...thanks,

    stereo amps live under the passenger's seat I think on D2's. But I think they were only fitted with the upmarket sound eg Harmon Kardon

    Thanks for the responses..I was pretty sure there wasnt an amp...but was asked the question by the installer. Can't wait to get the new stereo in ,
