I have a second ecu for the D2, a chipped TRS one (MSB and not NNN). I am just wanting to double check what I need to do to change it over before I do something that I regret.
I have a Nanocom, from what I have read, I need to save the injector codes and the security codes from my current ecu. Is there anything else I need to save before I take the stock ecu out?
When putting the new one in, I assume the process is reversed, load the saved injector and security codes.
Do I need to do anything else? Is the vin stored in the ecu at all? Do I need to sync with the BCU or anything like that?
