Installing the CDL on my D2 was one of my better mods.
Only been out 4wd a couple of times since installation. When using CDL I am surprised at how little the TC comes on now.
I got into a bad mud bog and was slowly working the vehicle back and forth trying to get out (winching or a snatch out was looking like the only way out). The traction control came on a coule of times but not nearly as much as expected in that situation. I eventually drove out, but I am certain that with out the CDL I would have been stuck fast.
As an experiment the last track of the day I took it out of Diff lock. This was mostly down hill rocky section and the TC came on several times almost more times than the whole day with Diff lock engaged.

Mine did not have the CDL internals and I put in an Ashcroft kit and lever - I had Ritters do it for me while I had my auto fixed.

I'm just in the process of fitting the Ashcroft CDL Transfer Case internals and the replacement lever assembly. It's good to hear that your pleased with the results. Please keep the reports coming I will let you know how I get on.
