You could do worse than hand write into the service book at the "stamp" point: "refer reciept dated *** by "so & SO" repairers" You might have a missing stamp, but you do have a record of service.

Tend to agree Dave. My dad who is a retired Mechanic of 50 years said the same today. It seems a lack of goodwill of their part to not to give the car the once over. Their labour charge is at $90 per hour so i think that they were just pushing it at $200, given Id just spent almost $1600. They took time to highlight another potential repair, so why not the basic stuff? Bit of greed maybe? As I am a person to keep the car tip top regardless. Ah well.

Next service in 6 months we shall see how i feel!
