Nothing as easy as that Im afraid. Nope wasnt accelerating was just cruising on a constant 100-110, did it first under cruise control so I went to manual control( right foot) to eliminate that possi. and it did it again. In all about 5 times in the 4.5 hour drive.
Just had a thought, must check the ECU connections under the seat too!

the main pressure control valve is located on top of the valve body, remove the valve body and remove the solenoid, inside is a gauze filter, clean and refit solenoid. refit valve body etc.

If it does it on cruise control it's not the throttle position sensor. Cruise doesn't use it

Ahh thanks for pointing that out saves 1 worry. the more I think about its behavior the more it seems as Justinc has suggested, a momentary shorting or the solenoid dropping out of play. Will play more tomorrow.

Well, I havent had a chance to open the covering on the harness and look yet, Had to do a quick run over to the other property so I just zip tied the harness to the selector cable to stop it rubbing on the transfer case. 2.5 hour drive , 160kms dirt road,100 kms of bitumen , and not a change out of place! So (touch wood) it appears to be in the harness, As Justinc suggested
Found a couple of corrugated dirt stretches and got it up to 110 for a bit, into 4 and some rough edges on the tar and nothing, Will report back when I get round to open the harness up, just did the trip home in rain and its a bit muddy under there at the moment!
How on earth Maxxis can stamp M&S on the side of their 751's? Like driving on marbles in a bit of muddy dirt!! At least the TC is working!

Justin, Do not know how you can call that stuff across there mud. It is dam glue! Went out to Isisford from from Blackall a couple of years ago on the way to the Oma water hole. On the way it started to rain. Pulled into the area where the caravans park near the river at Isisford. Said to the Dept of War that I was not stopping as the TC was going crazy. Back on the road, I had no control for about 75-100mtrs. Stayed behind the pub that night - us and 15 or so others. Never got to the Oma!! Later on we heard that there were 4 campers, 3 c/vans and 2 buses stranded there for two weeks.

Hey Tony I made the post comment about the mud. Im well east of Isisford , Just saying how bad the Maxxis tyres r in a bit of mud . But I do agree with you about Isisford mud, spent 2 weeks years ago stuck there with a house on a truck! Interesting to look in the mirror and see a 40ft trailer and house sideways behind you!

Just thought I would do an update on this.Still have not stripped covering to check, Busy as a Beirut bricklayer!! But with the loom not sitting on top of the transfer case it has been like a new 1! another 1200 kms under its belt since and not a murmur. So I think we can say thats a fix
