Pedro must be glowing with pride. Well done. :D
Each to their own I say. People have the choice at the end of the day.

I didn't name names.
So I guess you have donated to the site you linked to for the RAVE download to help them cover the costs of providing the hosting of these "free" files?

Or is providing some kind of support help keep a "free" resource you use running too altruistic?
If you feel the need to link do the people hosting the files a favour and link to the page not the file. That gives others the opportunity to see the donation request and make that call for themselves.
You don't have to, it's too obvious.
You guessed wrong. That's just a site google produced which I checked for downloading of the manual. I have not downloaded from that site, just making a point of how easy it is to access if you try.
Pretty sure I explained earlier what I part with.
? if you are morally compromised try one of the other 99 sites available.
You are wasting you time here. I understand what you saying (and your intent) but trust me, it's wasted.

No worries, you've illustrated my point very nicely with your responses.
I need a manual in a hurry, I dont want to buy one off ebay.
Does anyone know if these scribed or bikerepairmanuals are legit?
They say they're instant download??
land rover repair manuals
failing that, I could look into something from angus and robertson - anyone recommend the book below?
angus robertson land rover
or you could buy it on the shop link in the navbar above and get it tomorrow ;)
Just my 2 cents, the ones in the shop would be Virus free.
Content on the net if downloaded often has it's risks.
Recommending sites for downloads just increases software piracy.
Land Rover just can't be bothered policing it like others ie Ford, etc.
Land Rover didn't develop RAVE as a freebie.
So asking for links or displaying links just supports software piracy .
