    new tyres. hmm do i need flares?

    I picked up my 265 75 16 on 7 inch rims.

    Take a look at the pic it does over hang but i cant find the adr ruleing on how much over hang id ok.

    I dont mind the look of the flares gaurds. But cbs fitting if i dont need too.

    I've got the same tyres on the same size rims and it's not an issue for me....although I have bought some LR flares to put on, I have done this mainly for aesthetic reasons....

    A mate told me it cant go past the body. So i think it needs flares to be road worthy.

    Factory cars with 8" rims had flares because they had 255's on then, a set of factory flares will get you to where you need to be, and look good!!
