Hi All,
I have intermitent speaker performance and I assume the head unit is on way out as all connections at speakers seem solid and speakers operate intermittent so I am thinking head unit
I need to remove the head unit and then I will bell cables and check resisstances etc to see if I see the correct speaker impedence
Problem is how do I remove head unit. I thought it would be just allen keys in the holes but not having any luck picking up a hex head (2mm)
Any advise as to how to get this out all vids or pics appear to show a another method and flat tool which inserts into slopt (DIN Tool I think)
Further I assume there are no amps and it is a straight 4 speaker system with fronts utilising tweeters and crossovers as there are tweeters in the pillar
Further if anyone has changed what have they done for a surround of the new head unit as the unit appears 1.5 DIN and any recommendation as to a headunit for a straight swap
