Knocking noise from rear?
Afternoon.
Starting to notice an odd knocking noise coming from the rear of the D2.
Only noticeable on bumpy roads at slow speeds or hard, fast steering movements.
I'm thinking flogged out bushes, but I'm not sure which ones.
Cheers

Cast your eye over all the bushes at the rear, but if there's nothing really obvious take a good look inside the car for something that is knocking against the body.
You'd be surprised how "suspension sounding" a loose jack handle etc can sound.

Easy fix ! A- Dont drive slow on bumpy roads
B- Do not make sharp steering movements C- Ensure all backseat passengers do not hammer on windows trying to get out!
But in reality it is probably a shockie bush

Check your neighbours to see if all the kids and pets are accounted for.

The safety chain "D" shackle hanging off the towbar ring...

Hmmm....
Towbar is in, will remove and repeat
All neighbours, small animals, little kids accounted for.
No passengers as they mess with my car and **** me off.
No D shackle on the tow hitch.
I had a similar sounding thing which turned out to be an army canteen in the storage bins, funny sight, an angry Muppet tearing all his stuff out of the cargo bay on the side of a track
I'll have a squiz ter-morra.
Cheers
